Australian Federal Elections - Pencil on paper - and Erasers? Who's cheating?

I am astounded that someone hasn't taken issue with the fact that the polling booths in South Australia and perhaps Australia-wide only had pencils to use in the recent Federal Election. How many organisers or handlers could have used erasers to change votes? This surely is not RIGHT?????? I'll be taking my own ink pen next time I vote.
